Job Description  

Core Strengths is looking for a Partner Development Representative who is a critical part of our partner team, providing top of funnel new prospects via outbound prospecting and development of inbound lead requests. You will be responsible for driving qualified opportunities from well situated leads and transitioning those opportunities to Core Strength Partners  for further execution and closing. You are also responsible for maintaining relationships and contact with quality leads in order to transition them into qualified opportunities in the longer term.  These leads will be both prospects for consultants to join the Core Strengths partner program as well as leads that will be opportunities for our Core Strength Partners


About You:

  • You’re focused, self-motivated, and outgoing
  • You’ve been told by many people that you have exceptional communication skills – and are extremely clear, direct, timely and accurate communicator
  • You seem to have the ability to self manage tasks and achieve target numbers for contacts and opportunities
  • You’re experienced with data analysis and reporting using Google Sheets, Salesforce and BI Tools
  • Ideally you have some sales or business development experience
  • At the end of the day – you are very passionate about the development of human potential and the Core Strengths story along with our global connection to talent development.  You share the belief in how we can help companies’ people strategy as they seek to grow, develop and level up their managers and teams


What you’ll do:

  • Sales Expertise
      • Prospect new contacts and accounts within a set region through identifying and enrolling leaders of small & mid-size companies into Executive Briefings for our Partners. 
      • Prospect new contacts and accounts of Consulting Firms to join our Partner/Reseller community.
      • Work closely and in alignment with Partners to ensure smooth handoff and a good prospect experience
  • Collaboration & Communication
      • Work closely with Partners to assist in opportunity creation, quote generation, sales support  
      • Provide feedback and viewpoint from the customer and sales team to help improve the Core Strengths’ product and business
      • Connect with stakeholders at the appropriate buying level within these accounts.
  • Tech & Industry Knowledge
    • Solid understanding and foundation in the software industry and how large talent development teams  work
    • Advocate for the Core Strengths talent effectiveness platform and our position within the global talent development community


Job Requirements

  • Excellent personal technology skills are a must.  Core Strengths is a SaaS company and priority is given to candidates that demonstrate competence in using an Apple and Salesforce CRM. 
  • Excellent verbal and grammatical skills are important and used in persuasive and interpersonal communication (heavy email use is standard). 
  • Solid outbound business development experience with a strong work ethic is key.
  • A proven ability to work effectively, willingly, and with a positive attitude in a fast moving, interdependent team environment is a necessity. 
  • Must meet minimum standards in quantity of activity and sales volume on a weekly basis. 
  • 2-4 years B2B sales and/or telesales experience preferred; business/corporate sales is also a plus.
